The Fall Professional Development Conference is an excellent opportunity to network with your peers from other chapter institutions to build relationships that will last your professional career and beyond. The conference also includes a series of high quality educational sessions that are structured to suit a variety of topics that would be of interest to facilities professionals of all levels. The conference starts with a keynote speaker designed with a goal to be motivating, inspiring and hopefully leave you re-energized with some new ideas that you can take back to your institution.
The Fall Professional Development Conference is also a good opportunity to attend APPA Professional Development Programs in our local chapter. AAPPA is proud to have been able to bring such programs as Tracks I, II and III of the APPA Leadership Academy and the APPA Supervisor’s Toolkit to help further advance the professional development of members.
An AAPPA scholarship may be available to help chapter institutions offset some of the costs to attend, further information can be found here.
AAPPA members also have access to the valuable resources that ERAPPA has to offer. One of these is the resource library containing instructional videos on a variety of topics which can be loaned to your institution.
